Our Story

Thrive Chiropractic opened its doors just weeks after Dr. Ruvayn Rubinstein graduated from Life University in June 2014. Coming from Miami, Florida, he was looking for a community he could call home — and the small neighborhoods, family-owned businesses, and strong civic leadership of Troy made the decision easy.

By mid-July, a beautiful office near the Troy Motor Mall was leased. On January 8th, the Troy Chamber of Commerce — which Dr. Rubinstein joined as an ambassador — welcomed Thrive to the community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and Mayor Dane Slater issued a proclamation for choosing Troy as home.

Over the past twelve years, that vision has grown far beyond what we could have imagined.

Today, Thrive Chiropractic has helped thousands of patients throughout Troy and the surrounding communities. From newborns taking their first steps to grandparents striving to stay active, we have had the privilege of caring for entire families through every stage of life.

Along the way, Dr. Rubinstein has delivered more than 100,000 chiropractic adjustments — helping patients with neck pain, back pain, headaches, sciatica, sports injuries, pregnancy-related discomfort, and countless other conditions regain function and improve their quality of life.

Recognition has followed — Top Chiropractor by Hour Detroit Magazine every year from 2016 through 2025, back-to-back Best of BusinessRate awards in 2025 and 2026, and a Benchmark Business Excellence honor — but the real measure of the practice's growth is the families now bringing three generations of patients through our doors.
